The reality is that you are not the only student who experienced that. But if you are a student with a heavy academic load and inconsiderate professors, gaining motivation can be very hard.īut before you quit, please hear me. So, what made me so successful in my college years is not IQ. In fact, there were students who outscored me in the IQ test. But no one realized that I wasn’t the most intelligent one. When in college (as a student), I met many of those students who were a great enemy of themselves. A belief that they are not enough, or they don’t have what it takes to succeed. The only reason for student’s failure is the self-defeating belief. Most students don’t believe when I say that they are as talented as those achieving high academic honors. But the truth is, if you are one of the students who struggle in school, you just need to realize that you have what it takes to succeed. The only thing that holds them back is doubt and uncertainty. At some point, I asked myself whether or not students are not equal in terms of capabilities to succeed in the academic journey.īut what I realized is that students are equally talented and capable of achieving their academic goals. In my college and teaching years, I see the majority of students fail in their academic goals. As a teacher and a former student, I totally understand that. And because it is hard, I see most of the students struggle especially during their first year. Getting through the whole college life is extremely difficult.
